On the 17th of November 2006 I covered the raising of the cross dedicated to the victims of Lysá hora, just below the summit. During the last 45 years close to 20 people had perished on this highest peak of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy mountain range. The cross was created by volunteers from the ranks of people who work on the mountain.
